How does Zenith generate my workout plan?

Accepted Answer

During onboarding, you tell Zenith your experience level, how many days per week you want to train, your session length, and what equipment you have access to. The AI generates a periodised weekly split tailored to those inputs — full body for beginners, upper/lower or push/pull for intermediates, PPL for advanced. Progressive overload is built in from day one.

Can I edit my workout plan?

Yes. You can edit individual exercises within a workout. You can also update your goals, training frequency, or equipment access at any time in the settings — Zenith will offer to regenerate your plan when inputs change materially.

What happens if I miss a workout?

Just tell Zenith through the check-in. It will redistribute your remaining sessions across the week, factoring in your goal date — not blindly pushing everything back by one day. You'll see a clear summary of what changed.

Does Zenith track my personal records?

Yes. Zenith tracks your best performance on every exercise and shows a PR banner the moment you beat it. You can see your strength trend per exercise in the exercise detail view.

How are my calorie and macro targets calculated?

Zenith calculates your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) from your age, weight, height, and activity level. For muscle gain, it applies a moderate caloric surplus of approximately 300–500 kcal above TDEE. Protein, carb, and fat targets are then set based on your goal.

Can I log food with a photo?

Yes. Zenith's photo meal logging uses AI to identify food items and estimate macros from a picture. You review and adjust the estimates before saving — confidence levels (High, Medium, Low) are shown so you know how accurate the estimate is.

Does Zenith generate meal plans?

Yes. A full 7-day meal plan is generated at onboarding, with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Each meal shows calories, macros, ingredients, and prep notes. You can swap any meal if you don't like a suggestion, or regenerate the plan.

Does training affect my nutrition targets?

Yes. Nutrition and training are one connected system in Zenith. If you log a significantly lighter session, or report under-eating through the check-in, your targets can adjust accordingly.

What is the Physique Rating feature?

Physique Rating is an AI body-scan in your Profile tab. You snap a photo and Zenith scores your physique across body composition, muscle development, symmetry, definition, and proportion. You get an overall score, tier-coded colours, and a shareable summary card so you can track real visual change over time.

How accurate is the physique rating?

Scores are AI estimates from a single photo and meant for tracking direction, not clinical assessment. Lighting, pose, and angle matter — keep them consistent if you want comparable scans week-to-week.

Where do my physique photos go?

How does Zenith adapt my plan?

Three feedback loops: session ratings after every workout, your AI Context (you can edit it yourself or speak to it), and the Regenerate flow which lets you rebalance the week with options like a new training frequency, equipment changes, or a goal update.

How does session rating feed back into my plan?

After every workout, you rate it: Too Easy, Just Right, or Too Hard. Consistent 'Too Easy' ratings signal the engine to gradually increase volume or intensity. Consistent 'Too Hard' ratings prompt a reduction in load.

What is the AI Context?

The AI Context is a rolling model of what Zenith knows about you — a natural-language summary plus structured facts. It's used in every AI prompt that generates or adapts your plan. You can read it and edit it at any time, either by typing or by recording a voice note in the Profile tab — speech is transcribed live and merged in. If Zenith has something wrong, you can correct it directly.

How do streaks work?

A streak counts consecutive active days — days where you completed a workout or hit your nutrition target. Your current streak and best streak sit at the top of the Progress tab, and a monthly calendar shows perfect, partial, and missed days at a glance.

Can I change what counts as a 'perfect' day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the Progress tab you can configure your perfect-day criteria — whether a completed workout is required, whether hitting your calorie target counts, and so on. Zenith uses those rules to colour the calendar and drive your streak.

Your body weight over time with multiple ranges (1W, 1M, 3M, All), per-exercise strength trends with sets, reps, and volume, a streak hero with best streak, a monthly calendar of perfect/partial/missed days, and a goal progress card with your projected target date.

Does Zenith require Apple Health?

No. Apple Health integration is optional. The app is fully functional without it. Granting Health access allows Zenith to sync workout data, body weight from smart scales, step counts, and resting heart rate — making the adaptive engine smarter.

Workouts completed in Zenith are synced to Apple Health. Body weight logs can also be written to Health if you choose.

How do I delete my account?
